Dairyland Honors Band and Choir
The Dairyland Honors Band & Choir Concert was Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 7 p.m. in the Whitehall Auditorium. The choir director was Merlyn Aude, retired band and choir director from Plum City, Wisconsin. The band director was Dave Mueller, long time band director at Eleva-Strum Schools now teaching at Chippewa Falls High School.
The students were selected based on their performance ability, attitude, and effort shown in their classes. There were two rehearsals for this event, Tuesday, Nov. 8, 6:30 – 9 pm and Satuday 1 – 5 p.m. The students then chill out over supper here at the high school, served by the Whitehall Music Parents. Congratulations to the following students selected for the band: Tess Johnson-flute, Olivia Schaefer-flute, Monica Skaar-1st chair clarinet, Yvette Peterson-clarinet, Mykayla Beighley-clarinet, Kennedy Harms-bass clarinet, Tommy Gierok-tenor sax, Wes Herried-1st chair french horn, Skyler Herman-trumpet, Anna Kopp-trumpet, Ethan Ringlien-1st chair trombone, Juel Gunderson-trombone, Brian Matthews-trombone, Trajan Schaub-tuba, Frank Ferdon-tuba. Congratulations to the following students selected for the choir: Kateyln Paulson, Cailyn Kneifl, Julia Halama, Alia Standafer, Megan Poulos, Kristine Lambright, Jordynn Anderson, Allison Anderson, Shandell Guthrie, Amanda Ringlien, Megan Engevold, Kole Dubiel, Andrew Lamberson, Carter Semb, Caleb Estenson, Joseph Kriese.
